Product details & directions

Answer: The Quick Release Honda is roping hardware used with a release string and rope shield for quick-release rope setups.

This is a small but important replacement part for ropers who want their gear ready before practice, jackpots, clinics, or hauling out. Keep one in the trailer or rope bag so a worn or missing honda does not stop the day.

Best for

  • Roping setups that use a quick-release honda
  • Trailer, tack-room, and rope-bag backup gear
  • Replacing worn, lost, or damaged rope hardware
  • Ropes up to 7/16 inch where compatible

What to check before buying

  • Confirm your rope size and setup
  • Check that the release string and shield style match your use
  • Replace worn hardware before it becomes a problem

Quick FAQ: Should every roper keep spare rope hardware? Yes, small parts are cheap insurance when you are away from the tack room.
